Comstock Acres
This area has excellent winter access and is only ¼ mile from downtown Tahoe City. Nicer, newer homes.

Cathedral Forest
A small, wooded area with nice homes and cabins close to Tahoe City.

Tahoe Tavern Heights
This area is close to town and populated by many local residents.

Tahoe Woods
This woodsy setting is close to town and has access to hiking and mountain biking trails up to Paige Meadows. It also provides beach and pier membership with the Tahoe Park Homeowner’s Association.

Tahoe Park
These cabins and homes are located in an easily accessible area and are in somewhat-close proximity to each other (most are 50-foot lots). This area is popular for the gated association beach with two piers, a playground, and a picnic area. The more expensive lakeside homes rarely come on the market.

Talmont / Twin Peaks
This area offers spectacular views of the lake reached by a 12% grade hill. It does get more snow due to the fact that it is a thousand feet above the lake, but most of the lots have good sun exposure. Backs to Paige Meadows for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing. The Tahoe Park beach and pier privileges are an advantage of living in this neighborhood.

This area offers easy access to the highway and is a mix of charming older cabins and newer homes.

Alpine Peaks
Located four miles above Pineland, this area is excellent for those who want quiet mountain living. Features spectacular views and direct access to the Alpine Meadows Sherwood Forest chair lift. Includes a tennis court.

This area is much like Pineland but tends to be more forested. Hurricane Bay is a public, dog-friendly beach within a mile.

Skyland is a very nice area with moderate and larger lots. Some homes offer lake views. Features beach and association pier privileges.

Tahoe Pines
A nice, level area and offers access to a beautiful, sandy beach and pier next to the luxury lakefront homes at Fleur du Lac, where the former Kaiser estate used to be. Some areas are secluded and woodsy, while others are a little more open and offer better sun exposure.

Tahoe Swiss Village
A quality subdivision with many year-round homeowners. Features a small, gated beach and pier.

A very desirable area with many lakefront homes, older cabins, and newer homes. Close to the Homewood Ski Area, marina, restaurants, and shopping.

McKinney Shores
Located close to skiing. Features its own lakefront association. This flat, easily accessible area represents prestige and charm.

This vacation-oriented community offers a pool, tennis courts, and bussing to the beach and nearby ski areas. Values are reflected as to whether or not the home is part of the Chamberlands Beach and Mountain Club. Regardless, all have access to a portion of the beach and public restaurant.

McKinney Estates
Within walking distance to Chambers beach, pier, and restaurant. This highly-secluded is one of the most pristine areas on the West Shore.

Kai-Lua Park / Westlake Village
This is a moderately priced area with many local residents.

Popular with many long-time locals. Many homes are being upgraded. This area has much to offer with Sugar Pine Point and Bliss State Parks close by. Features Water’s End beach and pier privileges.

Meeks Bay / Glenridge
With numerous lake view homes, this area is perfect for summer fun with white sandy beaches and open settings.

Close to Emerald Bay and Bliss State Park, this area contains some of the most beautiful private and public sandy beaches. This area is commonly referred to as the Gold Coast because some of Tahoe’s most prestigious estates are only occasionally offered for sale.
